We believe that it is essential to consider the relationship between community and business because there is a direct
correlation between entrepreneurship and societal good. By inspiring and motivating people in the community to create
ventures that sustain both the businesses and the environment in which they reside, we hold that society is improved
through regenerative enterprise.
In this way Common Ground is best thought of as a container in which a group of offerings together, and over time, inspire,
support and sustain the community in which they reside. By creating a place to which people can bring their ideas, labor, sense
of fun and desire for learning and teaching, we are, in fact, modeling a quadruple top and bottom line (financial, human,
environmental and spiritual capital) business venture.
We know this is a journey not a race. We know that beliefs may change before behaviors, but we ask, "If not us, who; if not
now, when; if not this, what?" This is why we do it.
